PM-Kisan status check shows 'Rft Signed by State Government' but money not credited, what does it mean?

That status is actually a good sign. PM-Kisan releases money in stages. 'FTO Generated' and then 'Rft Signed by State Government' mean your district and state have approved and forwarded your request for funds transfer order. The next stages are the payment getting processed and finally the credit to your bank. So at the 'Rft Signed' stage your file is cleared from the state side and is in the central payment queue. Usually the credit follows within a few days to a couple of weeks once the central release for that installment is running. Two things still cause it to stall even after this stage. First, eKYC must be done, otherwise the payment stops at the last step. Second, your Aadhaar must be seeded with your bank account at NPCI for DBT, because PM-Kisan pays only through the Aadhaar linked account, not just any account number you gave. Check both. On the official pmkisan.gov.in portal you can see the eKYC status, and your bank or the bank passbook update will tell you if Aadhaar is NPCI mapped. If both are clear and the credit still does not come after the installment release is over for your state, lodge a grievance through the portal or visit your nearest CSC or block agriculture office with your registration number and Aadhaar.
