I have only a small plot. Is commercial Tulsi worth it for me or only for big growers?

Honestly, Tulsi can suit a small plot because it is hardy, low cost, quick and gives multiple cuts, so your input risk is low. But profit depends entirely on having a buyer and the form you sell. For dry leaf, a small plot can earn modest steady income if a herbal buyer is confirmed. For oil, a small plot alone may not justify distillation unless you share a unit through a group, since oil needs scale. So the crop is feasible for small growers, but the income will be modest and depends on the selling channel. Do not expect the big numbers agents sometimes quote. Start small, confirm a real buyer and a written price, and treat all income figures as unverified ranges until you have actually sold a few harvests.
On a small plot it gave me steady pocket income from dry leaf, nothing huge. Good as an extra crop with a buyer, not a fortune maker.
