I do not want crop insurance this season but I have a KCC. What is the exact way to opt out so the bank does not deduct premium?

If you have a crop loan or KCC and you do not want PMFBY for the season, you must give your bank a signed opt-out declaration before the prescribed last date, which is set a few days ahead of the enrolment cut-off. Steps are: get the opt-out or refusal form from your branch, fill it for the relevant season and crop, submit it and keep an acknowledged copy. If you submit it in time, the bank will not deduct the premium for that season. Two cautions. First, the opt-out has a firm deadline, usually a fixed number of days before the cut-off, so a late form will not stop the deduction. Second, opting out leaves you with no cover, so if a calamity hits you carry the full loss yourself. The opt-out has to be given each season you want to skip, it does not carry forward automatically in reverse. Confirm the current opt-out deadline with your branch, as these dates are notified afresh every season.
Maine ek baar opt out karaya tha to bank me form bhar ke diya tha, acknowledgement le liya tha. Date se pehle dena padta hai warna premium kat jata hai.
