My KCC covers crop expenses but I want to buy a pump and later a tractor. Can I borrow for that separately while keeping my KCC?

Yes. The KCC is mainly a short term working capital line for seasonal crop and household costs, while buying durable assets like a pump, tractor, drip system or building a shed is funded by a separate agriculture term loan repaid over several years. The two can run side by side: your KCC for inputs each season, and a term loan for the equipment. Some banks offer a combined KCC that includes a term loan component within the same card for small investments, but a tractor is usually a stand alone term loan with its own EMI and the tractor itself often kept as security. For pumps and micro irrigation you may also get a subsidy that reduces the loan amount, so ask about that before borrowing. Keep your KCC repayment clean, because a good KCC record makes the term loan easier to get. Ask your branch whether to add it to the KCC or take a separate term loan, and check for any equipment subsidy.
Maine pump ke liye alag term loan liya aur KCC fasal ke liye chalta raha. Drip par subsidy bhi mili to loan kam karna pada. Pehle subsidy ka pata karo phir loan lo.
