Can I get a KCC for dairy and fishery animals without any crop land?

Yes, KCC has been extended to animal husbandry and fisheries, so dairy farmers, poultry keepers, goat and sheep rearers and fish farmers can get a KCC for working capital even without crop land. This is sometimes called the KCC for allied activities or AHDF KCC. The limit is based on your maintenance cost: for dairy it is worked out per animal for feed, fodder and care; for fishery it is based on pond area and inputs. The interest subvention and prompt repayment benefit on amounts up to a ceiling also apply, similar to crop KCC, so timely repayment gives you the cheaper rate. You will need proof of your activity, such as the number of milch animals, the pond or its lease, and basic KYC. Limits, the per animal cost figures and the ceiling are revised from time to time, so ask your bank and your local veterinary or fisheries department for the current scale.
