About the Same Deutz-Fahr 3040 E
The Same Deutz-Fahr 3040 E is a 42 HP Same Deutz-Fahr tractor in the mid-size, all-round segment, with a new ex-showroom price of about ₹6 lakh to ₹6.47 lakh. On the used market a clean, well-maintained 3 to 5 year old unit usually changes hands for ₹3.6 lakh to ₹4.53 lakh, a strong saving over new while keeping plenty of working life.
Before you buy, verify the RC and insurance, confirm the chassis and engine numbers match the papers, start the engine cold to listen for unusual sounds, and test the hydraulics and PTO under load. Compare the asking price against the resale table above and the new Same Deutz-Fahr prices to judge the discount. Buying on finance? Work out the monthly cost first with the EMI calculator.
