The Dasmesh Multicrop Thresher is a thresher (Tractor PTO) with a new price of about ₹1.5 lakh to ₹2.5 lakh. On the used market a well-maintained unit usually sells for ₹82,500 to ₹1.7 lakh, which is a strong saving while keeping plenty of working life. Before buying, inspect the working parts for wear, run it on the PTO, and compare against the new price and subsidy.
❓ Frequently Asked Questions
What is the resale price of a used Dasmesh Multicrop Thresher? +
A good-condition Dasmesh Multicrop Thresher (Thresher, Tractor PTO) typically resells for ₹82,500 to ₹1.7 lakh, against a new price of about ₹1.5 lakh to ₹2.5 lakh. Older or heavily-used units sell for less; see the condition-wise table above.
What should I check before buying a used thresher? +
Inspect the working parts for wear and cracks, check bearings, gearbox, belts and hydraulics, look for poor welding or repairs, and run the machine on the tractor PTO before paying. Ask for the original bill and any balance warranty.
Is a new thresher eligible for subsidy? +
Many implements qualify for subsidy under SMAM (Sub-Mission on Agricultural Mechanisation) and state farm-mechanisation schemes, usually 40 to 50% for small and marginal farmers when bought new. Used purchases are not subsidised, but the lower price often works out cheaper overall.
